A Little Confession First…
I’ll be honest — I haven’t always been great at this.
You’d think after all these years in business I’d have this sorted, but when it came to finding images for my blog, socials or website… well, let’s just say I’ve spent way too many hours scrolling stock photo libraries, trying to find something that felt remotely like me and my brand.
Either the images were too staged, too corporate or just didn’t give the warm, authentic, girl-next-door/caregiver vibe I was after. And even when I did find something usable, it often didn’t match the rest of my content — so it still felt a little off.
Last year, I decided it was time to do something about it.
I wanted my visuals to feel cohesive, soulful, and aligned with my voice — without spending hours designing in Canva (although that can also be a great option, when you want to make stock images more 'you') or settling for generic stock photos.
