I’d like you to take a moment to think about what sort of relationship you have with your competitors.
Do you even know who your main competitors are?
Within some industries there are thousands and thousands of competitors, within others there’s very few.
Now, if there’s a lot of competition in your market then maybe just look at the people who are your main competitors or who you might cross paths with at different events – perhaps at seminars, networking events, things like that.
The thing that I found really interesting is that a lot of people are very critical of their competition and may even put down their competition as a way of trying to gain more popularity and business for themselves.
