Hello Lovely! Today, I’m excited to share something close to my heart — my brand new book, START: The Solopreneur's Blueprint For Building Your Dream Business. This is the third book in my Women In Business series, with the next one set to release in early August 2024.
More and more women are stepping into the world of entrepreneurship, creating lives that align with their passions and values. This movement is more than being about business though. It's about designing a life that works on your terms, balancing work, family and even travel.
I began my business over 20 years ago as a solo parent. I needed a way to care for my young son, who has special needs, while also earning an income. Starting my business was a way to do both. I've built my business to suit my life, adapting it as necessary over the years, and I love being able to help others do the same.
I wrote START to help guide women who, like me, didn’t want to settle for the conventional path we were often encouraged to follow. Instead, we aspire to build something meaningful, doing what we love and shaping our days around what matters most to us. Whether it’s spending more time with family, pursuing a passion project or exploring the world, we deserve a life that reflects our dreams.
