I got some great ideas while listening to it, and his 2nd video, and have already started putting them into practice.

YEs, that is also one fix. But some time issue may be with the permission. You need to set the folder permission as 755 and file permission as 644.

Don’t forget to always include a Call To Action! It doesn’t have to be pushy or all about selling, selling, selling. If you have sent your client a newsletter that they are really impressed with, suggest that they can find out more and give them the tools or links to acheive it while the motivation and interest level is high.

Hello Donna-Marie,

Once again a thoroughly well written article. I noticed you did not touch much on proof reading. I personally believe that having a proof reader go through your work is vitally important as an article that has good content will lose credibility if it is terribly written or worse looks like it has been copied and pasted by a third person. I know I have seen a lot of copy and articles and the ones that have glaringly bad writing are the ones I avoid or treat with less respect. I am not talking about the odd typo we all make but more bad English and bad spelling out of context writing as well. In my view a simple going over by a good proof reader could be a life saver if they noticed something that one had missed.

Hi Donna-Marie,
I read with great interest this post. I have been through quite a number of changes over the last couple of years. I readily concur with your point of view on this matter. It is not always better to change things but one can only know that for sure if one actually tries to change it.
My example is that I have lived in England all my life working 7 days and sometimes nights every week. I worked to keep going in my life as it ‘had always been my life to do so’ , rather like your friend. Something in me wanted to try something different, I and my wife decided to change everything and we moved to a ‘tin’y place called Australia. This change has and still is the best thing I have ever chosen to do. My life has changed and I have grown beyond anything I would have thought of.
Change for me has been a great and wonderful path to my future. But what if it had not worked?
Simple…I would have gone back with the knowledge that at least I had tried.
Change is the mother of all invention as is necessity, the two can be inter-twined.
